Welcome to nagare, a quiet retreat surrounded by the gentle mountains of Ina Valley in southern Nagano.
This guide introduces how to reach our three accommodations: Kominka nagare, villa nagare, and Log nagare.

【1）Access by Car】
Traveling by car is the most convenient way to reach nagare.
Using the Chuo Expressway provides easy access from Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
■ Approximate travel time
・From Tokyo: Chuo Expressway → Komagane IC / about 3–3.5 hours
・From Nagoya: Chuo Expressway → Komagane IC / Matsukawa IC / about 2 hours
・From Osaka: Meishin Expressway → Chuo Expressway → Komagane IC / Matsukawa IC / about 4.5–5 hours
From Komagane IC or Matsukawa IC, it takes about 10–20 minutes on local roads to reach each accommodation.
Each house has a parking space located right next to the property.
■ Winter road conditions (Dec–Apr)
Ina Valley receives very little snowfall, but some areas on the way may have snow.
Road closures due to heavy snow are rare, but early mornings and nights may be icy.
For safety, we recommend using winter tires (snow tires) during the winter months.

【2）Access by Train】
You can reach nagare by taking the Limited Express “Azusa” on the Chuo Main Line, then transferring to the Iida Line.
Please note that the Iida Line has very few trains, so checking the timetable in advance is essential.
■ From Tokyo
Limited Express Azusa (via Okaya) → Iida Line
Approximate travel time: 3 hours 45 minutes – 4.5 hours
■ About the Iida Line
Trains run about once every hour during the day.
It is a peaceful local line with beautiful rural scenery—perfect for those who enjoy slow travel.
■ Nearest stations → Transfer to each accommodation
・Kominka nagare:
Nearest station is Tagiri Station (20 minutes on foot).
Pick-up is also available from Iijima Station.
・villa nagare / Log nagare:
Please get off at Iijima Station. Pick-up service is available.
If you require pick-up service, please contact us in advance.
We kindly ask that you arrive on trains scheduled to reach Iijima Station around 15:00 or 16:00.

【3）Access by Highway Bus】
Highway buses are a convenient and affordable option with no transfers required.
■ Tokyo → Iijima
Busta Shinjuku → Iijima Bus Stop / about 3.5 hours
■ Nagoya → Ina area
Meitetsu Bus Center → Matsukawa / Iijima Bus Stop / about 2 hours
Pick-up from the bus stop is available for all accommodations.
If you would like pick-up service, please contact us in advance.
We recommend choosing buses that arrive around 15:00 or 16:00.

【4）Rental Cars】
We can arrange rental cars that can be picked up and returned directly at the accommodation.
We will pick you up at the bus stop or train station, then connect you to your rental car for use during your stay.
・Rates vary depending on car size and dates (from ¥7,700 per day)
・Highly recommended for guests staying multiple nights or planning to explore the area

【5）Shops and Nearby Facilities】
Nagare is located in a quiet rural area surrounded by nature.
There are no convenience stores within walking distance, so we recommend buying what you need before arrival.
■ Kominka nagare
A “7-Eleven” and the roadside station “Tagiri no Sato” are about a 7-minute walk away.
■ villa nagare / Log nagare
There are no shops within walking distance.
